Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Supply Chain Manager position. This position offers the right candidate Challenging work, innovative products, and continuous new product development drive. LOCAL CANDIDATES onlly.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a Strong background in low volume and/or custom manufacturing environment involving purchases and outsourcing of machined parts, fabricated components, and injection rubber moldings. Looking for a diversified operations background that includes responsibility for sourcing and supply chain activities. Candidates must be technical and understand cost drivers for component categories; also understand processes like machining and welding. Candidates that started out in a machine shop and have hands-on knowledge in that area are preferred. Also, looking for global sourcing experience; must be professional and diversified in background - able to help drive lean process improvements in manufacturing and purchasing and able to drive cost reduction efforts in the sourcing group. MUST HAVE A 4 YEAR TECHNICAL DEGREE. The following are pluses: 7 years+ background in operations and or sourcing, MBA, past experience in transitioning an organization from de-centralized purchasing to centralized purchasing; ERP background, especially, SAP; Engineering degree; international sourcing and demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and grow a department. Experience - traveling abroad is also a plus. |
