Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc has partnered with a client in Southwest Ohio to help them search and qualify candidates for their Systems Engineer position. This person will work with a team of engineers to support the operating system and technical foundation software for IBM zSeries 9 and 10 mainframes. You will be responsible for Process Improvements and Problem Management/ Support and Maintenance.

Must have great communication skills and proven industry experience in IT infrastructure/ Data Center/Network Operations environment. Also must have systems programming experience with installing and supporting IBM z/OS (version 1.9 or later) Operating Systems in a large, high performance data center environment. CICS experience with solid understanding of the 'transaction' and 'pseudo' conversational nature of CICS.  MUST have Roscoe experience with good understanding of Active Work Space (AWS), Roscoe commands, and RPF's.

4 year degree, ZVM are pluses.
