Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Firmware Engineer position. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing company.
Requirements:
Candidates must be proficient in C/C++ and assembly code development and use of associated tools for embedded devices. 2-5 years process control and hardware/firmware design experience is required. Candidates must have experience with inter-processor communications. Troubleshooting skills for software, firmware and hardware from system to component levels is also required. Must be familiar with communications protocols and design. Skills considered a plus are as follows: working knowledge of TCP/IP socket programming; Statistical Analysis; Ability to interpret electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, PCB layouts, and design specifications ; Working knowledge of electronic assembly test equipment, i.e. meters, o-scopes, power supplies…; Working knowledge of electronic and electro-mechanical components, i.e. Digital, analog and programmable ICs, passives, relays, circuit breakers and other components; PC literate, i.e., ACAD , Gerber Viewers, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, and MS Office applications; Working knowledge of SQL, Posgress (Postgress), and other Database platforms. |
