Description: Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio Client to find and qualify candidates for their Performance Test Engineer position. This person will be responsible for redefining and setting test strategies, improving the process, not just day to day test, as well as writing and execution.
Requirements:
Successful candidates will have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies as well as performance engineering experience. This is NOT a job requiring writing test scripts, so looking for high level candidates only who are responsible for the quality of the deliverables and working with offshore teams, but not responsible for the deliverables. Experience working with offshore teams is required. Also must have 3+ years of professional experience Performance Testing & Performance Monitoring and Tuning. Excellent Capacity planning experience to perform Reliability/Performance/Capacity assessment is required. Must have hands on experience in HP’s Loadrunner/Performance Center. Knowledge of C++ & Java to perform Instrumentation design and working knowledge of Web technologies, client/server computing and databases is required. Working knowledge of computer networks, networking hardware and the Internet 2+ years of professional experience scripting automation with the following tool: QTP, Ruby/Watir, SoapUI and SilkTest. He/she must have developed scripts to adhere to defined coding standards and following defined automation framework (common libraries and functions). GC Holders or U.S. Citizens only. |
