Description: Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Raleigh, NC Company to find and qualify candidates for their Embedded Digital Controls Engineer. This person will conceptualize, develop, and design advanced real-time DSP algorithms for advanced power conversion applications in the power quality industry.
Requirements: Successful candidates will have 5+ years developing advanced digital controls and algorithms for power conversion. Candidates must have 5 years+ writing code for embedded processors in "C"/"C++" languages and must possess a thorough understanding of Discrete Control Theory and Power Electronics, and must be able to troubleshoot and program FPGA and CPLD devices
He/she will develop firmware that interfaces with complex peripherals such as PWM Timing Units, UARTs, CAN Controllers, Analog/Digital Converters.Advanced Degree preferred. Analyzing and troubleshooting experience with analog and digital control circuitry is a plus. Exposure to Six Sigma concepts is strongly desired
