Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a St Louis, MO Client to find and qualify candidates for their Software Engineering Architect position. This person will be responsible for Systems and Software suppliers to ensure interfaces are correctly flowed and decomposed into supplier specifications, and with hardware/software integrators to ensure the interfaces are correctly implemented. Candidate will work with the customer, other IPT software engineering teams, and software development partners to horizontally and vertically integrate the systems and software interfaces. This includes evaluating supplier interface specifications and design documentation for required traceability and design criteria and following up with suppliers to address deficiencies, as well as leading and/or supporting supplier meetings with technical experts and chief software engineers.
Requirements:
Successful candidates must have expert knowledge of how to derive and allocate requirements (e.g., system, sub-system, software) and show traceability throughout the product lifecycle. Must have advanced software architecture and design methodologies. Ability to synthesize software architectures and designs that meet requirements, characteristics and constraints is required.Candidate must also be able to lead a large software development team (including suppliers throughout the US). Must also have experience with EVMS and project management. Active Secret Level clearance is required, with the ability to obtain a TS Clearance. Military experience is a plus. Active TS Clearance is a plus. Experience in IPT programs (particularly geographically separated teams) is highly desirable.MS or PHD
