Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Lead Packaging Engineer position. This person will be responsible for collecting project data for packaging and manufacturing operations and developing schedules, scope of work, design basis, specifications, and basic layout documents for packaging lines and systems. (S)he will provide innovative solutions and equipment sourcing options based on best value analysis and assist in purchasing and qualifying documents, system testing, installation and startup support. This person will coordinate packaging activities with customers, manufacturing plants and other engineering disciplines.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have a 4 year Engineering degree and 10+years of design engineering experience supporting installation and startup of packaging lines and systems. Must have experience in one or more of the following industries: Personal care and cosmetics; Household chemicals; Foods & beverages; Pharmaceuticals and medical devices. Experience with liquid filling and GMP standards are required. Candidates must have experience in specifying and sourcing packaging equipment and must be available for extended travel to facilities and test sites. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must possess Microsoft Office proficiency and must be able to generate basic drawings with AutoCAD (2D). Commitment to safety and understanding of industrial safety requirements are essential. |
