Description: Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a SW Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Power Electronics Systems Engineer position. This person will be responsible for developing product applications and manufacturability well as coordinate with the customer to optimize system design.
Requirements: To qualify candidates must have an MSEE and 5+ years’ experience in Power Electronics and Systems Engineering. Must be able to work effectively with motor design engineers and must be able to apply use of induction motor modeling for system analysis. Candidates must be able to coordinate with motor design engineers to balance motor and inverter capabilities. The following are pluses: Experience programming embedded micro-controller/DSP for control of motors, CAN communication protocol; creating CAN network message and signal databases, CANalyzer; software and CAPL programming language. Also preferred: Matlab and Simulink in electro-mechanical systems analysis; designing systems for harsh environment; motor control for air movement systems; HVAC systems.
