Description:
Russ Hadick & Associates has partnered with a Southwest, Ohio Company to find and qualify candidates for their Embedded Software Engineer position. This person will be responsible for the implementation of embedded code that will drive rapid product development in a next generation platform of advanced sensing technologies for miniature, low power, and robust environmental monitoring instrumentation.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess 4 year degree and 5+ years’ experience in design and implementation of embedded software. Must have Expert knowledge of C, particularly for embedded systems, as well as Knowledge of basic electrical engineering concepts, including the ability to read a schematic. Ability to utilize basic bench-top equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters during development phases to analyze firmware interaction with hardware is required. A/D, D/A, and data acquisition are also required.VHDL or other FPGA tools; 16-bit microcontroller architectures; Texas Instruments MSP430 experience; IAR Embedded Workbench; Knowledge of assembly language; and advanced degree are all preferred qualifications. |
